Zenn Overview

What are the Zenn?

The Zenn are a sentient species who originate on a large rocky, ice-planet. Their bodies are adapted to subzero temperatures, high altitudes, and 1.4 G's of gravity. They are best suited for climbing and running 'short' distances of ten miles or so, and their manner of moving is best described as being like parkour. They emphasize what they are saying with very expressive body language. Their language is made up of 9 distinct languages that can be spoken separately from one another and don't share similar roots but are most commonly spoken interchangeably with the prevalence of one over another dependent on region.

Deryn grasped Alek's waist and hurried down to Dr. Barlow's room.
What in barking hell is happening to Alek? Deryn thought.

2 minutes and 30 seconds later

As soon as the tired midshipman came to halt at the door, Deryn pounded as hard as she can.
" Dr. Barlow? Dr. Barlow! Please open up it's me Dylan!"
no response all she could hear was moaning.
Was the doctor in trouble too?
" Please Dr. Barlow! open the damn door!!" Deryn yelled
Deryn had no choice to kick down the door.
She had to put all her might she could kick down the door.
BAM! went the door and she went inside.
Deryn gasped at the scene she saw, and her eyes were big as saucer plates.
"OH! um...Mr. Sharp! what are you doing here?" the confused doctor asked.
There was Dr. Barlow and Count Volger were making out! Volger had his shirt out of his pants and his muscles hanging out. Dr. Barlow's hair was out of the bowler hat and was replaced with messy brown curly hair going which way possible! Deryn felt her stomach turn upside down. Old people making out...that's just barking wrong Deryn thought.
"Um...well..um..." Deryn stuttered. How could she say anything when Count Volger and Dr. Barlow were basically half naked right in front of her!
Count Volger eyes went up. He looked straight at her.
" What are earth are you doing with Aleksander?!" He shouted.
Deryn frowned. and she looked back at the bleeding prince. She almost forgot!! Alek was bleeding from the mouth only a few minutes ago, and it was starting to pour out again! " OH! right. Alek started to bleed and cloughing up blood! i rushed him down here as i can! but i don't know..." She tried to finished.
Dr. Barlow basically grabbed Alek off of her, and put him down on the bed.
Count Volger gave Deryn a dark look.
" What did you do to him?"
" ME? i didn't do a barking thing! he just started to cough, and then...well! that!" She pointed to Alek. Dr. Barlow was already tending him.

10 minutes later

( I"m switching POVS here)

Alek opened his eyes, light blinding him, holding against his will.
" Alek? Alek? can you hear me? Alek?" a questioning voice was calling for him.
Alek groaned. " Mother? i had the strangest dream..." He trailed off.
he looked up to see Dr. Barlow and Dylan next to him.
"W-What happened? did i- i fall asleep?" he asked
Dylan shook his head. " no, you started to.." But Dr. Barlow silenced him with a dark look,Peering through his very soul. Dylan gulped and didn't say another word.
